Privacy policy

This policy informs you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about which personal data are processed when you visit this website and use the fare calculator.

This English version is a courtesy translation. In case of doubt the German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is authoritative.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) GDPR is:

Company
TAXI 305000 – Andreas Ungar
Address
Hörtnaglstraße 43b, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria
Phone
+43 512 305000
E-mail
info@taxi305000.at

Full provider details can be found in the legal notice.

2. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit this website, data transmitted by your browser are processed automatically for technical reasons: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested (URL), the referring link (referrer) as well as browser, operating system and device type (for example the phone model, as far as your browser sends this information). This processing is necessary to deliver the website, to ensure its stable and secure operation and to detect and prevent abuse (such as fraudulent clicks on our ads).

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, functional and abuse-free operation). These log data (including the IP address) are stored for about 30 days and then deleted automatically. To prevent and prove click fraud on our online advertising we additionally keep compressed copies of the access logs for up to 13 months; they are evaluated only in case of a concrete suspicion of abuse and deleted afterwards.

3. Hosting

This website is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). Hetzner processes the data named under point 2 as a processor on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exclusively on our behalf.

4. Fare calculator & address search

When you use the fare calculator, the start and destination addresses you enter are transmitted to our server in order to calculate the route, distance and estimated fare and to display address suggestions. The entries are processed exclusively to answer your respective request and are not combined by us into a user profile.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing a fare calculator).

5. Location detection

The fare calculator offers the function “Use my location”. It becomes active only if you select it explicitly and grant the location permission in your browser. In that case the geo-coordinates determined by your device are transmitted to our server to determine an address as the starting point by reverse geocoding. The coordinates are not stored and not passed on to third parties.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent, which you give by granting the location permission and can withdraw at any time in your browser settings).

6. Map display (OpenStreetMap)

To display the calculated route we embed map material. The map tiles are loaded from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). Your IP address is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation in the process; this is technically necessary so that the map tiles can be delivered to your browser. The map is loaded only once a route is displayed. An adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for the United Kingdom. Details at osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a clear display of the route).

7. Contact & booking requests

For requests and advance bookings we provide buttons that open a pre-filled WhatsApp conversation or an e-mail. No form data are stored on our server in the process.

  • WhatsApp: when you click a WhatsApp button you leave this website and are redirected to WhatsApp (operator: WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., a company of the Meta group). We have no influence on the data processing there; the privacy terms of WhatsApp or Meta apply.
  • E-mail / phone: if you contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, contact details, ride request) exclusively to handle your request or to carry out the requested ride.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) and (f) (handling your request).

8. No cookies; anonymous statistics; ad conversion measurement without cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use third-party web analytics services. No profiling and no automated decision-making take place.

Anonymous usage statistics. To improve the website we count on our own server which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked (e.g. “call button on the home page”). Only the following are recorded: the page viewed, the type of element clicked, the device group (phone, tablet or desktop), the language version, the time, whether the visit came via an ad (yes/no), and the origin of the visit as a rough category (search engine, AI assistant, ad or direct – not the referring address itself). Not recorded or stored are: IP address, device identifiers, cookies or other identifiers, entered addresses or form contents. The events are stored without any personal reference and can be attributed to a person or device neither by us nor by third parties; evaluation takes place exclusively in aggregated form. They are therefore anonymous information within the meaning of Recital 26 GDPR. Insofar as the processing at the moment of transmission would nevertheless be regarded as processing of personal data, it is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving our website according to demand); the browser signal “Global Privacy Control” is respected.

Google Ads conversion measurement. If visitors reach our website via a Google ad, we measure whether our phone number, WhatsApp contact or e-mail address is tapped or a request is sent (measuring the success of our advertising). No cookies are set and no user profiles are created; a click identifier assigned by Google when the ad was clicked is transmitted to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the effect of our advertising (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Further information: business.safety.google/adsservices.

9. Your rights

Within the statutory conditions you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. A message to info@taxi305000.at is sufficient to exercise these rights.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Austria is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
